Well, the Mistress of Mischief herself, our own Phaylen Fairchild paid a visit to the MBC New Studios a bit ago! Turns out the broad won some “Studio Tour” contest and muscled her way into a super serious news broadcast, much to the distress of news anchors Dousa Dragonash and Recka Wuyts (Pronounced “Wheats” If you’re wondering. I did.)
If you keep up with the World news from MBC- as you should, you may have already seen it! If not, take a gander. Somehow, the ending left none of us surprised but provided a mighty good chuckle.

Okay, DiVAS, we know you’ve been waiting for some news and I’ve got it for you! The DiVAS have had a couple glasses of bubbley and are ready to bring you 6 brand spanking new episodes which will begin airing November 28th! Yes, we know, we pushed back the release date due to workload. Not only are several new series coming out in the fall, but this season is bigger and better!
For those of you who have been asking the ever-present question; “What happened to the DiVAS at the end of the season?!” Well, see the just released promotional for season 2. Have any guesses?
Here it is, Ladies and Gents. Your first peek and the brand new Machinima series in production; Ctr-Alt-Delete. This hyper-tech new series from the team that brought you DiVAS follows the high octane adventures of Jonas Darcy, a man whose consciousness was exiled to virtual reality and his code wizard sidekick, Noir.

All of you know that DiVAS come in all shapes, colors and sizes. A DiVA is measured by nothing but pure fierceness. On July 22nd, the world said goodbye to a genuine real world DiVA, one of the most iconic of our time, Estelle Getty.
Many of you remember Estelle as the spunky broad with the sharp tongue on the classic television show, Golden Girls, or as Sylvester Stallone’s meddling mother in the film “Stop, Or My Mom Will Shoot!” Estelle had a long, long career in Hollywood and had been suffering failing health for the past several years. She had done what all DiVAS do, leave make their mark, they scrawl their names into the sands of time and remain with us long after they’re gone.
Goodbye, Estelle! Thanks for the laughs! Save some sequins for us.

If you haven’t heard of the obscenely popular machinima short series called "Divas", then you my friend have been missing out. Now, you could rush over to the site to check out all the episodes, or you could join us on Friday night for a 3 hour marathon at the New Globe Theater! We plan to stream all six episodes back to back and have a Q&A session for all machinimaists (is that a word? help me out!) out there. Best of all? Phaylen, Kit & Evie have agreed to allow an exclusive to this event: previews of their latest project! There will be schwag, hot ladies and lots of laughs. While I’m all for going out on a Friday night, I highly urge you to stay in this weekend and join us - it’s sure to be divalightful!

From the makers of DiVAS, the next groundbreaking machinima series is about to move into pre-production.
We are beginning work on a new action drama series in Second Life for part of our fall lineup. This is a VOICE audition. Yes, the characters speak. Several primary roles have already been cast and the remaining role requires the following:
A MALE between 25-40 with a deep voice and a British accent (or a believable manifesto of one.) Excellent reading and acting skills required, previous experience in voice-overs or broadcasting is a plus. He is the LEAD character.
Applicants do not need to portray the avatar in question unless it is appropriate. Access to quality recording software and Skype is a necessity. Potential respondents should have a reasonable amount of free time to work with cast and producers on rehearsing and executing dialog for a six episode season arc to begin airing in October.
You MUST work well in a collaborative environment, take direction easily and sign a release allowing us to use your voice in the film, in the context of the story and state that you understand the intention to publicly air the material with your inclusion.
At this time, the position is to be considered a volunteer position in pursuit of storytelling using a virtual medium.
Producers are conducting an open casting call in Second Life® at 9 o’clock SLT Tuesday July 22nd. If you cannot attend the casting call please submit a short clip of you reading a brief (Under 60 seconds) monologue and state your Avatars name in the beginning. Under no circumstances will you EVER be asked to divulge and personal, private or real life details - this is purely a virtual effort and we strongly uphold the terms of service within the platform. Do NOT include your real life name or any information that pertains to your real life identity.

Well, the girls weren’t necessarily sitting by the beach as planned. In fact they’ve been busy as ever!

DiVAS: Episode #1 - On The Verge Of Something Wonderful is being reshot entirely. The decision was made because the DiVAS realized that earlier episodes didn’t exhibit the level of skill they now possess, nor is it of the production quality they are capable of
Evie is working on a top secret project that will blow everyone away; look for the teaser in the coming days. It is a new series being produced under the New Media Cinema banner.
Phaylen wrapped up duties with organizing Second Life’s 5th anniversary and has begun production on 2 new series, both which will be produced under the New Media Cinema banner.
Kit has been working on her clothing line and recently did a massive new release. The time invested in teh show for the last 7 months put a hold on her own content creation. She’s also begun production on a new machinima from the makers of last Fall’s “The Veldt”.

We’re undergoing some plastic surgery while on hiatus, dear friends. Sometimes the website will be inaccessible as it is manicured to perfection. Give us some time, we’re not used to having to do things for ourselves and the butler died.
